Unlike the flat back Carcassi copies popularized by the Kolstein shop this is a carved round back bass. Made from European spruce and maple and built in Reghin, Romania by the Calin Wultur workshop. The combination of wider lower and middle bouts, smaller upper bouts and deeper ribs offers a bass that has a nice low register but also eases access to the higher end of the fingerboard. 41 1/2" string length. $5500 with cover
