Double Bass Workshop

We have a new Shen Willow Rogeri model. Carved, round back instrument with the back and sides made from willow.

upper bout width 20 3/4"

middle bout width 15"

lower bout width 26 1/4"

rib depth at neck block including plates  7 1/4"

rib depth at lower bout 9"

bottom of bass to top of button 46"

string length 41 5/8", Eb neck.

The playing setup includes a new ebony fingerboard installed by our shop as well as a Despiau bridge and Ullsperger endpin.

Big sound pizz. or arco, but slightly darker in tone than the maple version. This bass moves some air.
